Our Fajalauza collection reflects the craftsmanship of an artisanal tradition that dates back to the 16th century. Produced in small batches by our artisan partners in Granada, the birthplace of Fajalauza, each piece boasts its own unique charm. The most common motif in our Fajalauza collection is granada or pomegranate, the namesake of the city that has sustained this pottery tradition. Other motifs include the flora (water lilies, sunflowers, daisies, palms) and songbirds (spotless gray herons, peacocks, spotless starlings) common to Andalucía.
Our growing catalog is a testament to the ancient yet thriving Fajalauza tradition. We currently hold 36 distinct Fajalauza designs.
This collection includes plates, bowls, serving bowls, lebrillos, pitchers/vases, tea cups and more.
