While Fajalauza ceramics still retain a penchant for geometric designs, perhaps its most sentimental designs are those inspired by the Andalusian landscape. This green Faisán Fajalauza Lebrillo Serving Bowl depicts a pastoral scene: a beautiful pheasant walking through a marsh, among blooming flowers and slender reeds.
Hand-painted with care, the bowl shows the artist’s careful brush. The details in the bird’s plumage and the perspective that sets the reeds in the far background brings the scene to life.
The lebrillo Serving Bowl or fuente semillana share the same shape as the traditional lebrillo but they are lighter, leaner and therefore more suitable for tableware.
Much like other Fajalauza classics, fuentes make a unique decorative statement.

Hanging Your Fajalauza Item: A small incision in the foot of the vessel/plate allows for hanging. Our heavier items like lebrillos require a wall mount.
