Our Mediterráneo Traditional Lebrillo is an ode to the 'mare nostrum', the blue waters that lap the right side of the Iberian Peninsula and brought its inhabitants in close contact with its neighbors in southern Europe and North Africa culminating in the rich cultural heritage we now enjoy.
Our Mediterráneo lebrillo features a floral pattern that covers the entire base of the basin. A large pomegranate flower takes center stage while its branches sway under the weight of smaller blooms. The artist has taken care to highlight certain details on the petals and leaves.
“Mediterráneo” is written in beautiful cursive above the scene.
As with all our Fajalauza lebrillos, the walls are also decorated. A pattern that looks like waves run up the sides of the basin toward its terracotta edge.
