Our Alhambra Traditional Spanish Lebrillo is a nod to Granada's most emblematic monument.
This base of this lebrillo features a large rosette in the center while the walls of the basin bear a geometric pattern that recalls the sand dunes of the desert.
Inspired by its heritage, Fajalauza designs retain the geometric motifs that were a pivotal part of Islamic art on the peninsula during Moorish rule.
Though lebrillos were first used as functional household items — as washing basins and mixing bowls – their intricate designs eventually turned them into decorative objects for the home and garden.
Lebrillos are often displayed as wall accents together or with fuentes (serving bowls).
