This yellow Maricruz bowl is a testament to Fajalauza craftsmanship. Faithful to the centuries-old techniques and motifs that have kept this ceramic tradition alive, our artisans paint each piece by hand.
This yellow bowl features a large flower motif spreads out across this round bowl. The artisan has filled the larger bloom with small renditions of pomegranate branches, leaves and tear-drop buds. An undulating pattern covers the walls.
The exterior of the bowl is decorated with slender leaves.
In keeping with Fajalauza ceramics, this design features elements of the Andalusian landscape. Here pomegranate flowers take centerstage.
Besides pomegranates, the city of the city of Granada, Fajalauza often features sunflowers and palms and local birds like the spotless starling.
